DCGPO is a Group Purchasing Organization (“GPO”) that is wholly-owned by and operated by Allday Stewardship Companies, LLC for the benefit of Child Care providers and establishments. Because DCGPO's exclusive focus is Child Care operations, it is unique among GPO’s, and has no interest apart from reducing Child Care operator costs and providing high quality products and services to their clientele.

DCGPO was created through the collaborative efforts of child care professionals and technology experts. Established in 2008, the team was driven to provide cost efficient services to a market that has had to “stand” on its own since its conception.  This team of professionals has extensive experience dealing with Group Purchasing Organizations in other markets and years of child care facility and operational management. A Day Care Group Purchasing Organization was the logical conclusion for the need to service and “add value” to the industry that is responsible for the nurture and development of “the next generation.”

DCGPO’s Code of Conduct is divided into four (4) different sections. These sections include:

DCGPO is an organization that enables child care owners to enjoy a multitude of services that will significantly reduce their costs and optimize their operating efficiencies.  It gives them the ability to join with (other) child care organizations and participate in Group Purchases, Insurance Purchasing Groups and Group Benefits, Training and Educational Services, Food Delivery Programs and Technology Solutions. 

The power of Shared Services gives child care operators the ability to optimize their efficiencies and increase its profits.  DCGPO is the only Shared Services Organization that focuses solely on child care operations, thereby providing a unique set of products/services that are optimized to increase child care operator bottom line. Through DCGPO you will lower your operating costs and enjoy benefits that have been previously unavailable. 

Member Driven Contracting

All DCGPO contracts and agreements shall be decided by the membership. Historically, GPO's have been able to attain lower levels of pricing, greater value for their membership, and a competitive contract portfolio through the aggregation of volume. DCGPO’s founders recognized that their purchase volume must be relatively concentrated to achieve the same volume purchasing levels of the largest GPO's. They also recognized that the promise of commitment by the members would be important to achieve supplier interest in writing purchase agreements with DCGPO members.  There can be no effective aggregation of volume without the member’s commitment to utilize the group purchasing agreement.  A competitive bidding process results in a bid that provides the greatest value for DCGPO’s members.

Group Purchase
Members of DCGPO will be able to combine member purchasing needs for products and receive volume discount pricing for products such as supplies, arts & crafts, vans and buses, playground equipment, food and beverages, furniture and more.  They will be able to plan and budget for their expenditures well in advance of purchase, schedule delivery dates convenient to their operation and pay for products on or close to the delivery date.  In turn, manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers will be able to offer deep discounts because of exact volume requirements and the ability to schedule manufacturing, staging and delivery.

Insurance, Financing and Operational Management/Technology
Members will access to Group Health Insurance, Workers Compensation Purchasing Groups, Commercial Property & Casualty and Student Accident Insurance and premiums will be driven by volume membership.  DCGPO is negotiating with Banks and Finance companies to offer attractive financing options to the membership. Other DCGPO service offerings include Staff Development training, Training Materials and Curriculum.  For those members that require assistance with their technology needs, DCGPO can help with Timekeeping, GL/AR/AP, Security, Attendance Tracking, Record Keeping and more. 

Food Service Delivery
Of course a significant expenditure for all child care organizations is the food and beverage costs.  With DCGPO, members can purchase food items through “On-Demand” Group Purchasing Events through national food suppliers that meet all government regulations.
